In November 2000, i moved to the Europe and went to Hultfred Christian school. My family might have “Quiet Time” every morning earlier than school; we would pray, examine some verses from Bible, then proportion what we discovered out of the verses we’ve examine. The speaker shared a Bible verse with us, Mark 8:34 wherein Jesus says, “Whoever wants to be my disciple ought to deny themselves and soak up their move and comply with me!”. This verse has extensively modified my attitude. Being a Christian is greater than just the rituals of praying, reading the Bible, and going to church; it is about “denying ourselves and taking over the go”, which means being willing to surrender the entirety to observe Christ, a entire give up to Him.

(The conversation is between Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. It is the first conversation they are having, and it covers the days they ii in the garden until they were banished. The conversation revolves around several aspects like the garden, themselves, and God. Both Adam and Eve believe they were created for a reason, given that they were created with the perspective that they are man and woman).
Adam: I have spent many days in this garden, and I have never seen any creature like you, and to some extent, your features are not different from mine.
Eve: Well, because I was created from one of your ribs, you can call me Eve. What is your name?
Adam: I am Adam, (jokingly), son of the

Either God knows for certain what he will do in future or he does not.If he does know, then he does not have free will (because he is unable to change his mind). If he does not know, then he is not all knowing (because he cannot be certain about the future). Therefore either God does not have free will or God is not all knowing

Pastor’s Notes: The Bible begins with these words: Genesis 1:1
1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
Those are simple words we often take for granted, but there’s an important reason scripture begins there. It lets us know who this story is about and who is sovereign and should be where we begin, as well. Everything begins and ends with God. There is nothing that exists without Him, and nothing is sustained without Him. Every breath we take, every beat of our heart, every mountain we see and every sight we take in, has its beginning with God, including us.
Deep down, all of us want to know who we are and what we’re doing here, and if we can answer those questions, life falls into place. We were created in the image of God and were created to have a relationship with God. That is our true identity and our true purpose. Until we find our purpose and identity in God, we will never find true peace, joy and fulfillment, because that’s who we were created to be. The Bible gives us the answer to this question in Genesis 3, “So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female He created them.”
If you try to play basketball with a football, it’s not going to go well. The ball won’t dribble how you want it to and bounce a lot of places you never intended it to go, because a football was created with a different purpose in mind. Well, until we find our identity and purpose in God, we will be like a football playing basketball. It will never be quite right because it’s not what we were created for.
But when we come to faith in Jesus and embrace who He made us to be, all of a sudden, we find the very reason we were born. Until you find your identity in Christ, you will never have true peace, true joy or true fulfillment. But all those things are found in knowing Jesus Christ as your savior.
Money, power, relationships, careers, all of these things fall short in truly satisfying our souls. But the old saying is true, the only one who can satisfy the human soul is the one who created it. So, may we all look to our creator and let His voice tell us who we are and what our purpose is. The amazing thing is when you do, everything your heart truly longs for can be yours.
